Coleg Sir Gâr

Coleg Sir Gar is one of the largest FE in HE institutions based in South Wales, UK.  The college has significant experience and expertise in the development of e-Learning since 1998.  The college has a specialist unit (Online Services) responsible for online learning and engages at regional and national levels in e-Learning projects that includes Teacher training, Teaching Resources development and Online/Distance Learning through its Virtual College initiative.  The department includes both academic and technical staff who are already working with Web 2.0 technologies in developing Technology Enhanced learning for Academic staff.  The institution is an Associate College of the University of Glamorgan and is actively engaged in European funded projects that support the Wales Agenda for a knowledge and skills economy. 

Coleg Sir Gar will be responsible for the development of the training concept and the training materials.  It will also offer one face to face training and online training on web 2.0  for the organisational development. Coleg Sir Gar will actively support all other WP leaders regarding project management, the development and the implementation of the needs analysis as well as the dissemination and exploitation of project results.
